Dear Edith,
I am writing this letter to tell you, that you were
simply spectacular at our 30th Re/Max Anniversary
Party.
You really helped tie the entire event together and
you raised the level of excitement by about 100
decibels. I can only say, thank you, from the bottom
of my heart for helping make our event a smashing
success.

Dear Edith:
Thank you so much for entertaining our Denver Chapter
of IFMA at our January monthly meeting. I was so
impressed with the way you immediately got the
audience involved and then kept them laughing for the
duration of your performance. Your "off the
cuff" style appealed to everyone in the room, and
I've received several positive comments since then.
Feel free to use me as a reference. I thought you were
a stitch!
Best regards,

In February 2003, Edith Weiss performed at out annual
Vendor Appreciation Awards Banquet. We initially billed
her as an expert in security and set up the attendees for
a potentially dry and boring speaker. Edith played her
role wonderfully and it took a while for the crowd of
400-plus people to realize they had been had. She
incorporated industry and company specific humor into her
routine, which was well received by the audience. I would
highly recommend Edith for your company function.

Summit County Preschool Fundraising Event
I would like to express our sincere appreciation to Edith
Weiss for helping to make out first-ever Comedy Night
fundraiser such a great success. We received only
positive feedback on Ms. Weiss's show from our guests. She
chose material which was very well suited to our audience
and exactly in line with our request for a
"non-explicative" show.
In order to promote our silent auctin, which was going on in
conjunction with the event, we requested Ms. Weiss (at the
last minute) to help us by verbally auctioning off two
items. She did this very willingly and very well,
which in our minds proved her talents for comedy - being
able to pull something like that off with no prior notice.
Our profits on those two items were much higher than what we
could have hoped for if done silently.
We would feel lucky to have Ms. Weiss back for another
Comedy Night event in the future!
Sincerely,
Karin Carestia

I hired comedian Edith Weiss as the after dinner
entertainment for a very diverse group of twelve business
owners. She was perfect with her wit, humor, and some
interactive comedy, and without benefit of a stage,
lights, or a microphone. Edith had us laughing non-stop
and engaged the group to the extent that we kept her after
her show for an impromptu "question and answer"
section. She has my highest recommendation.
Sincerely,

The White House Project Training Seminar
A very belated but sincere thank you for your performance at
the White House Project's "Go Run Political Leadership
Training" in June. You were wonderful!
You did an amazing job entertaining a very tired, low energy
crowd at the end of a long day. We all loved your ad-libbing
at the end using the comments from the group. It was
brilliant.
Best,
Heather Lurie
Women Build Habitat for Humanity FundRaiser
The packed house absolutely loved you! I'm sure you could
tell that everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. It
was the best fundraiser we ever had and everyone went home
with smiles from ear to ear. You were the highlight of the
night, Edith, and I cannot thank you enough for your talent,
your energy, and your enthusiasm. Our first Comedy Night was
a total success, in large part because of you.
Best wishes to you,

Wanted to thank you for the great performance at our annual

positive feedback and many individuals were still chuckling
about your stories the next week.

University of Denver Pioneer Leadership Program
Thanks so much for your brilliant lunchtime performance for
the annual Women's Conference at the University of Denver.
Your "right-on" material had us howling and helped
us wrap up a rather earnest and serious gathering with just
the right amount of levity. You seem to understand the
universal funny bone and the necessary delivery for maximum
impact. I am certain most of the audience chuckled off
and on the rest of the day.
As far as I am concerned, any one who gets to see your act
is a lucky person.
Good luck and thanks,

Program
Thank you for your presentation at our "Women At
Noon" program this afternoon. It was a wonderful
experience for those in attendance, I believe, and the
collective release of tenion was palpable. "Edith the
ever-present antidote to stress" worked her magic
again.
Enclosed is the article from the morning paper. A great
summary of the hour.
It was great working with you again. Please know we deeply
appreciate your willingness to share your considerable
talents with us.

Grand Lodge of Colorado, A.F. & A.M. Luncheon
The occasion was the Grand Communication of the Grand
Lodge of Masons of Colorado and was held at the Doubletree
Hotel in Denver, Colorado. The audience was quite
diverse in interests, age and backgrounds but Edith was
quick to establish rapport. Her timing and delivery is
superb and her material was hilariously funny. The
audience laughed till they cried. Some said they couldn't
remember when they had laughed so hard. Her one-liners
were the subject of conversation among the group two days
after the presentation.
I would recommend Edith Weiss's presentation for any
occasion. I will certainly book her again if the need
should arise.
Sincerely,
Signe Schmidt
